Ok..ok. Here's the Anniversary Post...!!

Thank you Bonnie and Michelle for your Felicitations! (And everyone else that remembered!)
It's hard to believe it's the start of our 7th year together.. We're having so much fun, time has zoomed right by! (And maybe having 3 kids has a little to do with it too!?) Anyhow, I'm just a very lucky person to have a husband, THE husband, that I do.. It's really quite a thing that far more days go by when I give thanks for the God-fearing, hard-working, witty, handsome, (ok -the list goes on..)Super-dad that I was fortunate enough to marry..
Well, enough sappy pappy..!! Here's to MaNy more terrific years of wedded bliss 'Sudsa'! - and if we were still in Switz. we'd be clinking our champagne glasses..! :P
Love and best wishes! Sorry everyone- just had to add an inside joke for Shel!:)

So..

..we have been home for 3 weeks, but only a few photos to show what we've been up to... The camera is back in the closet hiding, I guess..
One thing that has been new and exciting is how much Jude is moving! He started climbing the stairs! (at 7 months!?) It's his favorite thing to do...
The prairie skies that we missed a bit while we were away..

Rainbow!
Dylan had a week of swimming lessons! ( A freezing cold week to be in an outdoor pool...) Getting along for the moment.

Miss Ronnie Lodge heading to her beach towel.
Jude with his near constant string of drool - must be teeth!
And here is what Mr. Plumber Dad is setting up this eve..
..yes, on Aug.25th - a PoOL! Suppose we'll get a little use out of this week, since it's supposed to be hot?!

Last Day..

...Swimming at Reto and Pascale's! After a delicious pasta lunch, we jumped in the pool - was a big day for our kids - Emarie put on the waterwings and swam by herself! (Which then encouraged her big brother to do the same!)

The biggest boys and their waterwings!

Gorgeous maple that I wish we could grow at our house..:)

Rebecca!
Jude having his turn!
My great-grandma and her friend. :)

Pascale, our wonderful hostess..

Three, two, one..JUMP!
Orange tree.
For supper we went to the Grandson harbor for some perch fillets and homemade fries! Very yummy!

One more photo - of course Dylan needed to do his 'Calvin' face..!

Chateau de Chillon

We took a day a went to visit the castle of Chillon. A beautiful old thing... On the way we stopped in a little village and had lunch at a park. The house over-looking the park was the house that Charlie Chaplin used to live in..of all things..!

Yeehaw!!

Notice the cool tree thing - it rotates and has a platform to sit on! While we were gone the park at home got one put in too! (Only half the size though..)

The spitting frog. Cute isn't he Ju!;)
INTRODUCING THE CASTLE....!!

Situated right on the lake.

Kayla having a ride behind Daddy!
A carving on the prison wall - someone got bored in the dark..
Notice how small the doorway is! Those tiny Swiss!
Reagan enjoying his audio tour.
The white wall was how the castle walls actually would have looked like 'back in the day'..
Emarie peeping below to the lake. (The first time I went there they didn't have bars on the windows!!)
The big banquet room - the fireplace could cook a whole cow!
Fresco style painting covered many of the walls - have to admit this kind of painting is my favorite.

Stunning arches..
Knightly attire.. (again - small Swiss!)

Raph and Kayla on their way up to the Keep.
Not sure how many steps, but a fair few - and steep at that!
The view at the top!
Back outside, we found a little refreshment stand and ate our dessert first again! Emarie and her PINK Hello Kitty icecream!
Jude enjoying a taste!
Mmmm Mecca! Dilly fighting off dragons with his new sword!
Grounds outside the castle.

Whispering 'sweet nothings'!
On the way home I did some 'drive by sho0tings' out the window of the vehicle. This is what came of it:

Vineyards.
We decided that since we visited a Chateau that we'd stop at the Chateau (a store that sells the BEST cheeses!) in Yverdon on the way home and grab some fondue cheese! Delicious! Thanks Raph!
