Fun With Cora!

Cora from Switzerland came to visit us again this summer! She was heaps of fun ( and Help)! We want her to come and visit again next summer! :0)

Another hot day - this time spent at home in the pool! Jude was 'gettin the bugths out Mom!' And giving me a nice smile...

Also a picture of my favorite breakfast eating, and morning read spot - the hamock! (On the sunny days, that is!)

Camping at the Cline

It was a bit rainy and windy, but Greg, Michelle and their company Anita and Thomas were keen some fresh mountain air! We ate really yummy food, went on a few hikes, played rook, painted, colored, fished, built forts, had great visits...! Was a wonderful time!

Hike up the Cline - was the first time I've seen a bear up here after all the times of hiking here when I was little! ...And we didn't just come across one, but two in half an hour! Of course I was too dumbfounded to take a photo, and my batteries were going dead besides...

Needless to say, our hike was cut short!

Too many 'popcorn shrimp' aka kids, for the bears to eat!!

Huge amounts of tiger lilies and other wild flowers were blooming up there - the kids were constantly bringing back bouquets!

Hike up Siffler Falls! The pregnant lady made it up and back without even breaking a sweat! The kids did a terrific job too!

One Hot Day!

Like so many in this country - we are super excited when we get a hot (20+ ... it's pathetic, I know!) day or two this summer! We took advantage of this gorgeous day at the beginning of the month. Michelle and her 4 1/2 were kind enough to join us!

I didn't remember to take out my camera until the Sunday afternoon! Anyways, not important - we had a wonderful, inspiring, encouraging 4 days. So happy we get to do it all over again at Duncan in a couple of weeks! (We need extra help..!) :0)
