Apple Blossoms...
...in April! I'd been wanting to try forcing branches in spring for a long time and finally this year I tried it! This is what we enjoyed in our living room - the second week in April! They bloomed for about a week and a half, but would have lasted longer in a cooler spot - not in the west window, full sun!

Positive Possibilities
Someone recently told me:
"To encourage positive thinking , celebrate everything you can.."
So when Dylan requested a fancy supper we did just that! We celebrated FAMILY. Everyone got a kiss and hug, and an 'I love you' while they ate their supper - cause how sad would life be without family..?

**Just a side note: we're not letting our kids drink wine - it's grape juice - the kind that hasn't fermented!:)

Spring Trip to Penticton!
We got in on one more visit before G&G moved back to Cranbrook! Was a really, really good holiday.. Of course I wish I had taken more pics, but the camera's a bit bulky... We went out to some fabulous restaurants again - and found a new favorite! Reagan and I got a supper out together and even managed to go out for a run along the canal- just us two! (THANKS again G'Pa and G'Ma!) Jim took us mountain biking on some gorgeous trails, we played at the beach, ate Grandma's scrumptous cooking and just had a wonderful time! Thanks for letting us come! See you in Cranbrook next!:)

The view down the beach.. (the big peach in the distance is a refreshment stand in the summer!)

..on the way home!
We stopped in Revelstoke on the way to and from Penticton! On the way back we arrived early enough to do a little exploring! The CPR train coming thru some precipitation!
....no leaves yet..!

Was the day Dylan turned six! Here he is sporting one of his new hotwheels! (He's so pleased!)
Beneath the bridge..

..at the park!

Pickin', and chuckin' rocks - now what kid doesn't enjoy that? (Big or small!)

Our great little travellers! Looking a little worse for the wear!
