Grandpa's Family Dinner

We had a nice time on Monday with a few of the Jordan clan. Was a good catered meal, with games and visits afterwards!

Winter Beauty..

..and the kids playing in the snow. Emarie tried out cross-country skis for the first time! She did some good shuffling! It was a gorgeous day out yesterday, -18C with crisp white hoar frost and blue, blue skies! I didn't get out with the camera until the sun was setting, so I missed some really pretty shots..

Christmas Day

We spent Christmas this year in Okotoks at Turell and Marisa's place with the lively Tarves bunch! Was fun to have everyone together again! Even Aimee and Kalen surprised us by coming from Victoria!! Of course there was a pile of yummy food!(which I didn't get a photo of..) Here are a few photos of the day..

36 weeks..

Will this be the last pregno shot?! I guess I won't hold my breath.. It is VERY possible that there will be a 40 week update too..

Hurrah for Hand Me Downs!

Thanks again to Ju X 5 for the clothes! Emarie is really enjoying them (as you can see)and Dylan will, with a little convincing! We tried out the first shirt today, but he thought his old one would be better.. Emarie is a nonconformist when it comes to fashion - hence the spongebob shirt skirt (and hairdo)!

Cranbrook Visit!

We had a really nice time visiting G&G Tarves last weekend! It was a trip WELL worth the 6.5hr drive! We made it to special mtgs out there this time too! Our trip included a visit to Ryan and Verena's place in Kimberly - was good to see them and get to know little Maylyn better! She and Emarie are 5 months apart and about the same size, so they had fun together!

Our First Supper...

..in Shaun and Bonnie's 'new' place!! A yummy supper and fun with little Bentley. They're really going to enjoy the space inside and out!!

Two Little Jump-a-Lots.

On Friday, just before our cold snap (-30C) arrived, we headed outside to enjoy the snow!

Imagination!

All kids need is a little space and a little imagination and they have a great time! This spot in the woods was played in for hours when we were little and it's fun to see our kids in the same spot with their imaginations in high gear! David, Mecca and Kayla will have to come play...

The music in our house is quite entertaining at times - Emarie was a little more involved just before I took the camera out. Of course!
