Something Important.... for me to do.

We had such a good day yesterday I just have to share.

What was said, was that we often underestimate the power of prayer.

As a parent I think praying is one of the most important things I can do for our children.
..but don't do often enough...

There were a few things mentioned, of what we can pray for:
One. that our children would love God.
Two. that they would fear God.
Three. that they would be sensitive to the Spirit's dealings.
Four. that they would be willing for whatever God's will is for their life.

I just had to write these things down so I will make a more conscious effort.
..and I'm just very thankful for praying parents that have so positively influenced my life.

Thanks for sharing that. So true. I sometimes go looking at books for some help and ideas, but then i think surely we must be able to get all the help we need from God?!

Wonderful. It is amazing that we have survived childhood & young adulthood. The only way I think I did is because of praying parents... I'm sure their knees are worn out just over me!! But how thankful I am for it. So thankful.

Even though I don't have children... I think that I can add the privilege I have had for almost 8 years of praying for my 9 nephews and nieces! I hope I can do it more!
