Our wee boy has been standing by himself for a couple of months but never had the courage to get going.. Here he is, walking at 11 months. (He started a week earlier, but his mom is a bit slow getting out the camera..) The little munchkin figured out how to go down the stairs via his belly in the same week too- so we've switched into high gear 'round here!!
..he seems to be catching on quick. The last couple of days he learned to turn around while in motion.. next it'll be running....yipes!

This isn't a bit boring! Don't forget the uncle who couldn't wait to see him walk! He is such a smart boy! Very advanced for his age!
Oooo..aren't you the proud, slightly biased (sp?)uncle!I'll change that to Aunties and Uncles...;) Pardon me!
What a happy little boy! He has every reason to be pleased with himself. Walking already...hope his mom is ready for some action now!
