The last month!

Most recent : the SNOW storm. A lovely March blizzard that landed us 2 days off school!
It is all melting in a hurry this week however.. Is spring on it's way?

Enjoying the fresh 12+" of powder!

Fun with some of our cousins! They came to our house and we went to theirs!

We have had some gorgeous sunrises - pretty pink skies. This particular morning we had a moose grazing on our shrubs!

Pretty frost.

Another nice surprise in the wildlife department - elk! Such a beautiful animal.

( This a.m. we saw a cute fox in our yard - it was too quick in leaving and I didn't get a photo..)
I may have mentioned this before, but I'll say it again:

We are loving our new spot!!  :)

In the year 1912....

So, a few weekends ago, Sheldon planned a murder mystery and young kids weekend. These photos are just of the Friday evening murder mystery.
(Sorry there are so many photos...lots to choose from!)

Was  a fun filled evening - from prep work to dress-up, rook games, fancy food, music, etc...
Great job again Shel! Glad we could get in on it! :)

Some of the small details, that added their bit to the 1912 evening..

And here are some of the guests!

(..Notice Ash, the talented photographer for the evening, in her 2012, pardon me, 2010 clothes!) ;D
Also like to point out Gossipella (Jacintha) and Rumourelda (Jo),
head to head - discussing some 'hot' topic!! :)

Getting the murder part started..

On the bottem right corner - the ladies retired to their sitting room for a cup of tea..!

Yummy food!

The chamber music, provided by Reagan and I (poor things!), and the murdered guest!

The whole crew!

stuff..

So.... Here's a little morsel of what we've been up to lately! The most recent starting at the top.

Monday, Jude and I went for a little ski when the kids were at school! ( Testing out the ski trail groomer that Reagan and Uncle Ryan welded! Works awesome!)

Saturday, we enjoyed the delightful warm sun and practiced some hockey!

One of the days last week that the kids headed outside for a skate - Emarie dressed up for the occasion! Remember those gloves Julie?! :)

A lovely surprise from my handsome man! Went grocery shopping at Costco for me AND brought home a gorgeous bunch of flowers! (The last time he brought me flowers might be...oh... 11 years ago or so... before we were married!)
I had to take photos so I could savour this moment for the next 11 years! :D

A pretty sky in the evening - snow coming down in the sunset.

And a few of Grandpa's 90th birthday! The middle photo is the great grandkids (all who were there) singing 'Happy Birthday'.
